Climate change
Determined to address misconceptions about climate change, the California Science Center used a single wall to grab visitors’ attention. Text encourages readers to imagine a future of climate extremes—and then take action to make positive change.
Fishy and friendly poetry
Poetry brings an extra element of whimsy to exhibitions and entryways. When paired with a huge aquarium, poems encourage guests to take a closer look at fish features. And at an entrance to an exhibit area for young children, a poem helps prepare parents and little ones for fun, collaborative experiences ahead.
Live animals
One of the ongoing challenges of hosting live animals in a science center is the need to move them to new enclosures or to introduce new species. We developed signage systems to handle the ongoing demand for changing graphics.
